About BHS FBLA
The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) stands as an elite institution, honing future business leaders through a competitive blend of theoretical and practical challenges. It offers a sophisticated array of events, from intricate case studies to advanced public speaking, that forge deep expertise in finance, management, and entrepreneurship. FBLA positions its members as vanguards in the global economic arena by enchanting leadership skills and strategic insight, ensuring they are exceptionally equipped to excel in a complex, competitive landscape.
Our Chapter
In 1978, Berkeley High School established the first FBLA chapter in Moncks Corner, SC under the Adviser Teresa Tippins. It began with only 15 members. FBLA is the high school division of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc., headquartered in Reston, Virginia. We currently have over 80 members under Advisors Shamika Smalley and LaVonda Lampkin.
Dress Code

The following items are prohibited in all conference areas, including competitive events. Denim or flannel clothing, Shorts, Athletic clothing, Leggings, or graphically designed hosiery/tights. Skintight or revealing clothing, including tank tops, spaghetti straps. Mini/short skirts or dresses more than 1” above the knee. Swimwear, Flip flops or casual sandals, Athletic shoes, Industrial work shoes, hiking boots, Hats, and graphically printed clothing
